The App collects minimal data to function:
The App uses Google's Gemini AI API to process your chat messages and analyze food photos you share. The following data is sent to Google for processing:
Google processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms of Service. We do not store your messages or photos on our servers.
Requests pass through Cloudflare, our infrastructure provider, before reaching Google Gemini. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The App asks for your explicit consent before sending any data to Google Gemini. You may revoke consent in Settings, which blocks further AI requests until you consent again.
The App creates a random installation identifier and sends it with AI requests. Our Cloudflare service hashes this identifier and stores only a short-lived request counter used to prevent abuse. The counter expires within 48 hours. It is not used for advertising, cross-app tracking, or identifying you.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.
Preferences and chat history are stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. We do not maintain profiles or store message or photo content on our servers. Cloudflare KV stores only a hashed, short-lived request counter for abuse prevention, as described above.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
