Overview

Fibermaxxing ("the App") is developed by Futuron Inc. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

Data We Collect

The App collects minimal data to function:

• Food Preferences: Foods you like, avoid, and allergies — stored locally on your device only.
• Chat Messages: Your conversations with the AI coach are stored locally on your device. Message text and food photos are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing but are not stored by us.
• Photos: Food photos you submit are sent to the AI for analysis. They are not stored on our servers.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs
• We do not sell or share any data with third parties

Third-Party AI Service

The App uses Google's Gemini AI API to process your chat messages and analyze food photos you share. The following data is sent to Google for processing:

• Chat messages: The text you type in the chat is sent to Google's Gemini AI to generate responses.
• Food photos: Photos you share are sent to Google's Gemini AI for fiber content analysis.
• Food preferences: Your onboarding preferences (foods you like, avoid, allergies) are included in the AI context to personalize responses.

Google processes this data according to their Privacy Policy and Gemini API Terms of Service. Per Google's API terms, data sent through the Gemini API is not used to train Google's AI models. We do not store your messages or photos on our servers.

The App asks for your explicit consent before sending any data to Google's Gemini AI.

Subscriptions

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.

Data Storage

All user data (preferences, chat history) is stored locally on your device using iOS standard storage. We do not maintain any server-side database of user information.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
